ASABE Recognizes CNH Innovations with AE50 Awards 2026
On January 7, 2026, the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) honored CNH (NYSE: CNH) by selecting three of its Ag Tech innovations for the prestigious AE50 Awards. These accolades showcase the year’s most innovative products and systems designed to enhance the food and agricultural sectors.
Innovative Technologies Supporting Agriculture
Each winning technology from CNH supports critical phases of the crop cycle, including seeding, planting, and crop growth and protection. As stated by Gerrit Marx, CEO of CNH, “We are pleased to once again have our technologies included in this pre-eminent list that spotlights some of farming’s most advanced technologies and customer-driven solutions.” He emphasized that these awards reflect CNH's dedication to empowering farmers by integrating advanced technologies like AI, robotics, and automation across their offerings.
Key Innovations from CNH
The technologies recognized in the AE50 Awards 2026 are fully integrated into the Case IH FieldOps Digital Farm Management Platform, which offers real-time data and fleet management capabilities. Below are the highlighted innovations:
- Seedbed Sense Speed Control: A feature of the Case IH Tiger-Mate™ 255 field cultivator that monitors seedbed conditions and adjusts tractor speed for optimal performance. This technology ensures consistent planting conditions by allowing operators to set speed targets of up to 10 miles per hour, thereby enhancing crop yield potentials.
- Draft Tube Free Toolbar System: This system features the Case IH Early Riser® 2160 planter, designed without draft tubes and telescoping hitch components. The design improvements lead to a lighter, more efficient planter capable of high-speed planting at 10 miles per hour, minimizing soil compaction and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Case IH SenseApply™ Technology: As the first factory-fit automated crop-sensing system available as a retrofit kit, this technology uses AI for real-time crop health detection and Green-on-Brown spot spraying. It allows for precise application rates while optimizing resource use, including reduced herbicide and water inputs.
Commitment to Innovation and Sustainability
These Ag Tech innovations were showcased during CNH’s Tech Day at Agritechnica 2025, the world’s largest agricultural trade show. This highlights CNH's ongoing commitment to advancing agricultural technology while focusing on sustainability and efficiency throughout the crop cycle.
