FirstEnergy Transmission Extends Exchange Offer for Senior Notes
FirstEnergy Transmission, LLC ("FET"), a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE: FE), has announced an extension of its exchange offer for its outstanding 4.750% Senior Notes due 2033. This decision allows holders to exchange up to $450 million in principal amount of these notes for newly registered notes under the Securities Act of 1933.
Key Details of the Exchange Offer
The exchange offer, which was initially set to expire at 5:00 p.m. New York City time on January 7, 2026, has now been extended to 5:00 p.m. on January 21, 2026. As of the original deadline, an impressive $449,480,000, equivalent to 99.88% of the Outstanding Notes, had already been tendered in the exchange.
