Participate in Hockey History with Your Old Jerseys
Rogers Communications Canada Inc. (TSX: RCI.A, NYSE: RCI) has officially launched The Great Canadian Jersey as part of its ongoing This Is Our Game campaign. This initiative encourages Canadians to donate their used hockey jerseys, which will be transformed into unique patchwork jerseys symbolizing the rich heritage of hockey in Canada.
Kick-off by Canadian Hockey Stars
The donation drive for The Great Canadian Jersey commenced today, featuring prominent Team Rogers athletes: Edmonton Oilers Captain Connor McDavid and Montreal Victoire Captain Marie-Philip Poulin. Both players marked the launch by donating jerseys from their personal collections in events held in Edmonton and Montreal.
“Whether it’s a child’s first minor-league team, a beer-league favourite, or a retired NHL jersey, Canadians are invited to share their piece of history to be a part of history,” stated Terrie Tweddle, Chief Brand and Communications Officer. “With hockey’s deep roots in our culture, we are incredibly proud to launch this project as a way for Canadians to show their pride for our team and our game.”

Canadians can drop off their old jerseys at participating Rogers stores across Canada from today until January 15, 2026. For those unable to donate in person, more information about mail-in donations can be found at Rogers.com/TheGreatCanadianJersey.
