NEW YORK, Jan. 10, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Verizon Foundation is stepping up to support communities devastated by the Southern California fires and windstorms with a total of $1 million in donations. The contributions aim to provide much-needed aid and resources to support firefighters and the community. The donations include $500K to the American Red Cross and $500K to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation (LAFD). The American Red Cross donation will support emergency relief efforts in the LA area.
