Lyell's LYL273 GI Prophylaxis Shows Safety Signal Ahead of Pivotal Readout
Lyell Immunopharma reports that LYL273 with a GI prophylaxis regimen significantly reduces severe GI toxicity in a small U.S. Phase 1 trial, now amended to Phase 1/2 design. The regimen cut Grade >2 diarrhea to 10% from 55% without prophylaxis and yielded a 50% overall response rate. Additional Phase 1 data and an FDA End-of-Phase 1 meeting are planned for 2026.
