He joins Eastern Bank from Argo Group International Holdings where he was head of investor relations responsible for interfacing with the investment community. Prior to that, Mr. Hersom was Senior Vice President of Investor Relations with People’s United Financial, Inc. until the company’s acquisition by M&T Bank. Previously, he was Director, Investor Relations with The Travelers Companies, Inc. and a financial analyst with Citigroup Life Insurance & Annuities.
