Cogswell Award, the most prestigious recognition from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). Less than 1% of the more than 13,000 cleared eligible recipients in the Department of Defense’s (DOD) National Industrial Security Program (NISP) receive the award for maintaining a security program that goes above and beyond NISP requirements, and for providing leadership to other cleared facilities for high security standards. This marks the third time the Colorado Springs office has won the award, and the sixth overall for the company. The Colorado Springs Security Services team is responsible for overseeing an extensive employee community that spans several states, from Colorado to Texas, supporting a range of critical space and intelligence missions on behalf of the federal government. “Security as a practice is woven into everything we do at Booz Allen, as failure to adhere to the highest security standards can derail an important project or contract, putting the nation at risk.
