Colin Parkin's Extensive Experience
Colin Parkin brings over 20 years of experience with Canadian Solar to his new role. Before being named President, Parkin led as the President of e-STORAGE, a subsidiary that specializes in energy storage solutions. His prior roles include Vice President of the Energy Group, General Manager of Canada, and Vice President of Engineering and Projects.
Before his tenure at Canadian Solar, Parkin founded Integrated Manufacturing Technologies and worked with Photowatt International and Automation Tooling Systems (ATS). He studied Manufacturing Engineering at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.
Dylan Marx Takes the Helm as COO
Dylan Marx has also joined the executive team, being appointed as Chief Operating Officer. He previously served as Corporate Vice President of Operations at Recurrent Energy, bringing a wealth of experience in renewable energy, automation, and manufacturing. Marx's educational background includes a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Conestoga College and an MBA from the University of Windsor.
