ADR is a commonly used performance measure in the industry, and management uses ADR to assess pricing levels that the company is able to generate. Management considers RevPAR to be a meaningful indicator of hotel performance and therefore company royalty and system revenues as it provides a metric correlated to the two key drivers of operations at a hotel: occupancy and ADR.
