SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dropbox, Inc. (NASDAQ: DBX) today announced financial results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2025.

First Quarter Fiscal 2025 Results
- Total revenue was $624.7 million, a decrease of 1.0% from the same period last year. On a constant currency basis, year-over-year revenue decreased by 0.6%.(1)
- Total ARR was $2.552 billion, a decrease of 0.2% from the same period last year. On a constant currency basis, ARR was flat.(2)
- Paying users were 18.16 million, flat compared to the same period last year. Average revenue per paying user was $139.26, as compared to $139.59 for the same period last year.
- GAAP gross margin was 81.3%, compared to 83.2% for the same period last year.
- GAAP operating margin was 29.4%, compared to 22.7% for the same period last year.
- GAAP net income was $150.3 million, compared to $132.3 million for the same period last year.
- Net cash provided by operating activities was $153.8 million, compared to $175.5 million for the same period last year.
- GAAP diluted net income per share attributable to common stockholders was $0.51, compared to $0.39 in the same period last year.(4)
- Cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments ended at $1,180.0 million.
