This year’s survey underscores the growing concern over cybercrime, with 59 percent of respondents identifying it as their greatest risk. Furthermore, 75 percent believe cybercrime is either more likely or somewhat more likely to occur over the next 24 months compared to the previous two years. Economic downturns and natural disasters also remain top concerns, with one in four respondents ranking these events among their greatest risks. In addition, 49 percent of respondents predict an increase in business disruptions due to domestic and global tensions over the next five years. Given this heightened threat environment, organizations are strengthening their resilience programs. Seventy-five percent of respondents agree or strongly agree that their companies are allocating the necessary resources to these efforts — a 22 percent increase over last year.
