NGI's repository of biometric and criminal history information enables more advanced investigative capabilities for the FBI and other law enforcement and intelligence agencies. The FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) division administers NGI, the world's largest electronic repository of biometric and criminal history information. Leidos has worked with the FBI to improve the system's accuracy to more than 99.6 percent for fingerprint identification. Leidos will provide more capabilities through this program. Those include mobile apps, biometric algorithms, automated testing, and the integration of other emerging technologies.
