Steiner is the former chief executive officer of WM (NYSE: WM), a role he held from 2004 until 2016. Steiner joined WM in 2000 and swiftly ascended the ranks to become general counsel and then chief financial officer before becoming CEO in 2004. He was previously a director of TE Connectivity Ltd. (NYSE: TEL) and WM, and currently serves on several nonprofit and educational boards, including the E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University. Steiner received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Louisiana State University and earned his juris doctor from the UCLA School of Law.
