These volunteers provide safe and loving homes and ensure the puppies receive a healthy diet with regular veterinary care.They will attend obedience classes and expose the pups to various socialization opportunities to help them become well-adjusted service dogs. Over 16 to 18 months, the puppy raisers will teach basic tasks and manners, laying the foundation for professional service dog training.
