PREMA Racing’s Callum Ilott delivered a career-best drive, storming from 13th on the grid to finish P8 – the team’s highest finish of the season – while Rahal Letterman Lanigan’s Louis Foster continued to cement his reputation as one of the fastest qualifiers in the series. Louis Foster was once again lightning quick in qualifying, securing P7 and narrowly missing out on the Firestone Fast Six. Over the past five races, Foster’s qualifying average is an elite 8.4, including his pole at Road America. Foster continued that form in the race, launching into P3 in the opening third before contact from another car broke a suspension arm, sending him to the pits for lengthy repairs.
