On November 13, 2024, Charter Communications ("Charter") announced that it would acquire Liberty Broadband in an all-stock transaction. According to the announcement, Charter intends to issue to Liberty's shareholders 0.236 of a share of Charter common stock per share of Liberty common stock held. Following the closing of the transaction, Liberty Broadband's stockholders will be cashed out of their investment position and the company's shares will no longer be publicly traded.
