WALTHAM, Mass., March 28, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Markforged Holding Corporation (NYSE: MKFG) (“Markforged”), the company strengthening manufacturing resiliency by enabling industrial production at the point of need, today announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2024. Fourth Quarter 2024 Financial Results Compared To Fourth Quarter 2023 Revenue was $22.4 million compared to $24.2 million.Gross margin was 44.8% compared to 48.4%.Non-GAAP gross margin was 46.4% compared to 49.5%.Operating expenses were $25.0 million compared to $31.1 million.Non-GAAP operating expenses were $19.9 million compared to $24.9 million.Net loss was $11.9 million compared to net loss of $14.2 million.Non-GAAP net loss was $9.0 million compared to a loss of $11.6 million.Cash and cash equivalents, including restricted cash, were $53.6 million as of December 31, 2024, compared to $116.9 million as of December 31, 2023. Full Year 2024 Financial Results Compared To Full Year 2023 Revenue was $85.1 million compared to $93.8 million.Gross margin was 48.3% compared to 47.4%.Non-GAAP gross margin was 50.1% compared to 48.6%.Net cash used in operating activities was $61.3 million compared to $48.9 million. (“Nano Dimension”) to Acquire Markforged: On September 25, 2024, Markforged entered into a definitive agreement (the “Merger Agreement”) pursuant to which Nano Dimension will acquire all outstanding shares of Markforged in an all-cash transaction for $5.00 per share, without interest and less any applicable tax withholdings (the “Merger”). The transaction, which was unanimously approved by the Boards of Directors of both companies, is expected to close by the second quarter of 2025, subject to the satisfaction or waiver of certain closing conditions, including receipt of required regulatory approval from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.
