Owens Corning Announces Share Authorization for Repurchase of up to 12 Million Additional Shares

TOLEDO, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Owens Corning (NYSE: OC), a building products leader, today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a new share repurchase authorization for up to 12 million shares of the company’s common stock. The action reaffirms the company’s capital allocation strategy and reflects the success of its disciplined commercial and operational execution to deliver consistent and sustainable performance in dynamic market conditions. This authorization is in addition to the previously announced share repurchase program in which approximately 5.7 million shares remained available for repurchase as of March 31, 2025. “The additional share repurchase authorization reflects the earnings power of our company and confidence in our ability to consistently generate strong free cash flow,” said Chair and Chief Executive Officer Brian Chambers. “We remain committed to our long-term capital allocation strategy and returning free cash flow to shareholders over time.” The authorization enables the company to repurchase shares through open-market, privately negotiated, or other transactions.
