(NYSE: RBRK), the cyber resilience company, today announced financial results for the first quarter fiscal year 2026, ended April 30, 2025. “Our outstanding first-quarter results not only surpassed all guided metrics but also underscore the power of our focused innovation and execution. We are winning the cyber resilience market, and I believe that our opportunity is bigger than ever,” said Bipul Sinha, Rubrik’s Chief Executive Officer, Chairman, and Co-Founder. Commenting on the company’s financial results, Kiran Choudary, Rubrik’s Chief Financial Officer, added, “Q1 was a strong start to our second fiscal year as a public company, with another quarter of solid top-line growth at scale and continued improvement towards profitability.” First Quarter Fiscal 2026 Financial Highlights Subscription Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR): Subscription ARR was up 38% year-over-year, growing to $1.18 billion as of April 30, 2025. Revenue: Subscription revenue was $265.7 million, a 54% increase, compared to $172.2 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2025. Total revenue was $278.5 million, a 49% increase, compared to $187.3 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2025. Gross Margin: GAAP gross margin was 78.3%, compared to 48.8% in the first quarter of fiscal 2025. This includes $4.8 million in stock-based compensation expense, compared to $48.9 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2025. The change in stock-based compensation expense is due to the vesting of certain equity awards as a result of the completion of our initial public offering in the first quarter of fiscal 2025. Non-GAAP gross margin was 80.5%, compared to 75.4% in the first quarter of fiscal 2025. Subscription ARR Contribution Margin: Subscription ARR Contribution Margin was 8.0% compared to (10.6)% in the first quarter of fiscal 2025, reflecting the strong net new subscription ARR in the quarter and an improvement in operating leverage in the business.
