, /PRNewswire/ -- The China Fund, Inc. (NYSE: CHN) today announced its financial results for its third fiscal quarter ended July 31, 2025. For the nine months ended July 31, 2025, the Fund recorded net investment income of $1,647,647 or $0.17 per share, versus net investment income of $1,408,498 or $0.14 per share, for the nine months ended July 31, 2024. Net realized and unrealized gains on investments and foreign currency transactions for the nine months ended July 31, 2025 were $14,788,540 or $1.54 per share, compared to net realized and unrealized losses on investments and foreign currency transactions of $4,133,400 or $0.42 per share, for the nine months ended July 31, 2024. As of July 31, 2025, the Fund had total net assets of $156,430,675, and its net asset value per share was $16.27 based on 9,612,390 shares outstanding. A distribution of $0.1497 per share from ordinary income was declared in December 2024 and paid in January 2025.
