His pivot to health care investing started with his joining the venture capital firm of Kleiner Perkins as an Operating Partner. In 2014, he co-founded Chicago Pacific Founders, a health care focused private equity firm. As an ardent advocate for innovation in healthcare, Mr. Leisure co-founded the Employer Health Innovation Roundtable, a coalition representing over six million lives.
